Professor Vasco Carvalho is a co-author of a paper published in VoxEU, which examines the short-term effects of changes to monetary tightening, and finds it does have notable impacts in the short term.

IMF Publishes New Central Bank Transparency Code 

As part of a High-Level Advisory Panel, Dr. Petra Geraats helped shape a new Central Bank Transparency Code, which has been published by The International Monetary Fund (IMF). The new Code, which has been approved by the IMF's Executive Board, replaces the IMF's Monetary and Financial Policies Transparency Code from 1999. Read More>>
